The Rana Family (Delhi)
Vedant Rana (31): A sharp-tongued Delhi-based hotelier with a fierce, formidable presence that demands immediate respect. Guarded by a volatile temper and a deep-seated bitterness from a disastrous first marriage to a certified gold digger, he has closed off his heart to the world. When his ex-wife attempted to defame his family and harm his daughter, Vedant ruthlessly brought her to the streets. He is fiercely protective of his family, but the absolute center of his universe is his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Ruhi—the solitary beautiful remnant of his past.
Harshvardhan Rana: The stern, authoritative patriarch of the Rana family. A highly successful and wealthy businessman whose disciplined exterior hides a deep love for his children, particularly his eldest son, Vedant, with whom he frequently locks horns.
Savitri Devi Rana: The elegant, nurturing matriarch. She is the peacemaker of the household, fiercely protective of Vedant, and the doting grandmother who keeps the family grounded amidst their high-society life.
Naman Rana (28): Vedant’s younger brother. Cheerful, slightly mischievous, and fiercely loyal, he balances the heavy tension in the house and shares a close, teasing relationship with his sister.
Rupali Rana (24): The youngest sibling. Vibrant, expressive, and full of life, she brings a youthful energy to the Rana mansion and shares an unbreakable bond with little Ruhi.
Ruhanika "Ruhi" Rana (2.5): Vedant’s adorable, pure-hearted daughter. She is the light of the household, possessing the unique power to melt her father's hardened exterior with a single smile.
The Sharma Family (Manali)
Kritika Sharma (24): A serene, mature, and deeply pious soul. Blessed with a voice as sweet as a nightingale, she works as a music teacher, co-managing a renowned music school alongside her father. She is a true pahadan (daughter of the mountains)—kind-hearted, grounded, and radiating a pure, unconditional warmth.
Shekhar Sharma: Kritika’s father. A man of high principles and immense dignity, he runs the Gurukul Music School, an institution famous for producing legendary musical talents. Despite his fame, he chooses a life of profound simplicity. He is also Harshvardhan Rana's cherished childhood friend.
Sharmistha Sharma: The loving, traditional, and occasionally strict matriarch of the Sharma household. She holds high standards of discipline for her daughters but possesses a deeply affectionate heart.
Shrutika Sharma (22): Kritika’s vivacious younger sister. Effervescent, playful, and fiercely loving toward her di (elder sister), she prefers long mornings of sleep over early morning prayers, bringing constant la
ughter to the home.
